Oglethorpe County Fire Rescue hosted “The Art of Reading Smoke” training on Saturday, May 15th, 2021. Reading smoke helps firefighters to discover the specific location and intensity of a fire, building collapse potential, and the likelihood of a hostile fire event like flashover. This training exercise will help our department make better strategic and tactical decisions!
